İTÜ Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Moleküler Biyoloji ve Genetik Bölümü öğretim üyemiz Doç. Dr. Ceren Çıracı Muğan, Harvard Tıp Fakültesi’nden Prof. Dr. Talal Chatila öncülüğünde Türk İmmünoloji Derneği tarafından verilen “Işıl Berat Barlan Bilim İnsanı” ödülüne değer görüldü.

ITU Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ceren Çıracı Muğan was deemed worthy of the "Işıl Berat Barlan Scientist" award given by the Turkish Immunology Association under the leadership of Prof. Dr.Talal Chatila from Harvard Medical School.

Dr Ceren Ciraci Mugan has an interest in innate and adaptive immunity, in particular the study of NOD-like Receptors (NLRs). Her lab currently focuses on the regulation of adaptive immune responses through the components of innate immunity based on the preliminary results that utilized in vivo mouse models of airway hyperresponsiveness. Findings from these studies suggest roles for NLRs in regulating eosinophilic functions.
