A new research project (Development of Naphthoquinone Based Colorimetric and Spectrophotometric Methods for Selective and Sensitive Determination of Cu²⁺ Ion in Real Samples) administered by Prof. Dr. Ismail Yilmaz was accepted by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). The aim of this project is to realize the synthesis of a modified naphthoquinone-based probe which is designed to provide colorimetric and proportional spectrophotometric detection for the determination of Cu²⁺ ion in real samples.
