Sevgi Karadağ has received a humble invitation to collaborate with Taiwan's esteemed Academia Sinica Institute of Physics as a visiting research scholar from May 20, 2023, to May 19, 2024.

A significant portion of her thesis work revolves around conducting experimental studies in partnership with the TEXONO (Taiwan Neutrino Experiment) Collaboration. The collaboration operates between the China Jinping Underground Laboratory (CJPL) in Sichuan, China, and the Kuo-Sheng Reactor Neutrino Laboratory (KSNL) in Taiwan. These laboratories conduct experiments focusing on neutrino physics and dark matter research. TEXONO is a large-scale academic research collaboration that involves universities from various countries, including China, Taiwan, and others. Additionally, the TEXONO group provides academic and financial support to numerous graduate and doctoral students from different nations, enabling them to continue their thesis work and engage in research at the forefront of experimentation.

During her collaboration, Sevgi Karadağ will be working closely with Prof. Dr. Henry Tsz-King Wong, who extended the invitation on behalf of the Academia Sinica Institute of Physics. She expressed her excitement about participating in these studies as they offer her the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of detector technologies and data analysis methods employed in experiments. Moreover, she believes that her involvement will contribute to her doctoral thesis and allow her to address specific research problems that will shape her future endeavors.
