Eosinophils are a type of white blood cell (leukocyte) that plays a critical role in the immune system, particularly in allergic reactions and combating parasitic infections. This project aims to reveal the functions of eosinophils in generating viral immune responses while changing and diversifying the way we evaluate Crohn’s Disease and numerous diseases, including autoimmune celiac disease and inflammatory bowel diseases.
